The inspiration behind the Honeycomb Hexmat came from pastry maestro Kriss Harvey. When he approached us with the idea for a custom bee hive mold, we knew something delicious was in the works. Kriss utilized this mat to craft a dulcey blonde chocolate bee hive plaquette for the new white truffle dessert with bee's wax ice cream. Intriguing, isn't it? What culinary masterpiece will you create with yours?
 
MOLD SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Each of the 14 castings measure approximately 2” x 2.25” x 1/16” thick (5.08 x 5.72 x 0.16cm)
  • The mold measure approximately 6.5” x 11” (17 x 28cm)
 
Crafted from high-quality, food-contact-safe platinum silicone, sourced and produced in the USA, our silicone molds can withstand oven temperatures up to 400°F (204°C) and are suitable for blast freezers. Free from fillers, non-toxic, and specially pigmented to ensure a consistently stable chemical formulation, our molds are handmade in our Chicagoland facility. Please wash before use.
